2025 SCHOLARSHIPS

Our scholarships for 2025 were awarded last Friday night by our President to Junior School recipient Phoebe Milne and Senior School Bodhi Gent.

Congratulations to both.

 

2025 Christmas Party

A great day today (7/12/25) for our Christmas Party/BBQ.  Thanks to all those that attended.  We had a small prize for Best Presented Car won by a Mini Cooper, 2nd GTO, and 3rd XR6 Falcon.  Congratulation to the winners and have a Merry Christmas to all and a Happy and Safe New Year.

Dont forget, we have a major event in our motor show on the 14th of February 2026 so - See ya at the Show!

  

 

SCHOLARSHIPS

 

The BMEC is proud to announce that the membership will again be funding 2 scholarships for 2 students at Birregurra Primary School as part of our charter to 'Support the Birregurra Community'.

The scholarships were awarded for the first time in 2024.

The 2 recipients (1 from the junior grades and 1 from the senior grades) are chosen by the school staff without input from the club membership.

 

CAR DECALS

The BMEC Committee has had a limited number of car decals made of our club logo.  They are available FREE to financial members and can only be collected at a Monthly Meeting.  They measure 6cm x 9cm.  

 

 

COMMUNITY SUPPORT

The BMEC has donated $500 to the Birregurra Football Netball Club through the purchase of 100 tickets in the AFL 'Good for Footy' raffle.

The BMEC was not successful in winning a prize which was not the object of the purchase.  The entire $500 went to the Birregurra FNC which was our objective.

The BMEC also purchased raffle tickets for $100 towards the Birregurra Community Hall kitchen refurbishment.

Again, we were not successful, but as stated, this was not our objective with the donation.

  All the tickets were purchased as part of our ongoing commitment to 'Support the Birregurra Community'.

Life Membership

At last nights meeting (5th March 2025) Mr.Bill Tyrer was also elevated to Life Membership of the BMEC.  The entire club membership congratulates Bill on receiving the award.
